Tenchi Muyo!

Tenchi Muyo!
RYO-OHKI
For more reveiws of Tenchi Muyo, go to the midway. I have reviewed the Tenchi Universe series and the OVA series (the continuation of this series which was made a few years after this one.)
Tenchi Muyo is about Tenchi Misaki, your average high school student who resurrects a sleeping demon and the demon has to stay with him. The demon turns out to be a beautiful 'young' woman, and soon all of her old rivals start to show up at Tenchi's houseŠ a great show. It not only is funny, has a great sound track, and great animation quality, but it also has Washu!!
Episode 1: Ryoko Resurrected
Meet Tenchi Masaki, your average high school student who's spending his summer break at his grampa's shrine. One day, he accidentally awakens a sleeping 'demon' who's been sealed in a cave for seven hundred years. The demon actually turns out to be a beautiful young woman, and she needs to let out some of her anger, so she decides to do it on him and the school. Well, that's about the story right there.
Episode 2: Here comes Ayeka!
Ayeka, one of the royal family of planet Jurai, comes to earth in search of her fiance, Yosho. Instead, she finds Ryoko (who's now staying at Tenchi's house) and it turns out that they, well, aren't the best of friends, and Ryoko and Tenchi are captured. Luckily, little princess Sasami lets Tenchi out, and he eventually finds Ryoko again. But, of course, Ayeka isn't to happy about this, and another battle starts. Unfourtunatly, Ayeka's ship crash lands on earthŠ and, can't be repairedŠ
Episode 3: Hello Ryo-Ohki!
In this episode we first meet Ryo-Ohki, sort of the baby of Ryouko's ship. She is a cute li'l cabbit and it turns out she has quite a knack for carrots!
Lately Ayeka's spent most of her time just moping around the house feeling sorry for herself, but now she's going to come out and try to come to grips with the fact that her fianceé is dead.
ŠOr is he?
There are only two things which I really don't like about this episode. One: Ayeka slaps Tenchi for no good reason. Two: Ryouko starts feeling tenchi around his nyuhungaŠ(trails off)
I just love Ayeka's voice when she's a likkle kid, it's just so sweet and tiny and innocent. And Ryo-Ohki is SOOO CUTE!!! She's so tiny in this episode, small enough to cup in your hands almost! ^_^ And she looks so soft and furryŠ oh, how sweet it is. ^_~
Episode 4: Mihoshi Falls to the Land of Stars
This is the episode in which we meet Mihoshi, the slightly silly and very thourough Galaxy Police Officer. In the OVA she's not nearly as silly as she is in the tv series, I'm glad. She's also (in the dubbed version) played by a different voice over actress than in the later episodesm, her name is Jean Schwartz, I think? Can't remember. She sometimes speaks with a slight new york accent. Kinda' weird.
Anyhoozel,back to the story:
Every year the Misaki family goes Tenchi's great aunt's hot springs/inn. This year, though, it's definatly going to be different, what with two princesses and a wanted space pirate in tow. Of course there are different baths for the men and the women, which gives Nobuyuki the perfect opportunity for some, eh, 'peeping.'
Then, Ryouko drags Tenchi up to the ladies bath, much to his dismay, and some embaressing exposer goes onŠ Ryouko creates a demon as well, which she soon discovers she can't controlŠ and of course, we meet Mihoshi, just in the nick of time, as always. ^_^
Catagory: Comedy
Soundtrack: 10
Animation Quality: 10
Vocal Talents: 10
Plot/Story Quality: funny, weird, great for everybody, a 10
+: funny, great animation quality, Washu, ryo-ohki is the cutest lil' thing; great for kids, teenagers, and adults; definatly going to be remembered for a loong time in the history of anime.
-: some nudity, a little bit of swearing, like maybe one or two 'adult' situations, the first few episodes might be a little weird or slow for some people, (who though, I don't know. I love 'em.) Hang in there.
Overall: the very first actual and official 10! (Didn't round either! Aren't you pround?)
