Coming sometime, don't know where, don't know when: A bigger description of Vol. 4 and my reviews of volumes 5-8! Huzzah! I am NOT very happy about my other reviews of volumes 2-4 getting erased somehow. However it happened, I am NOT happy. I'll have to write them all over again! ;_;
The Slayers is a cool series (several tv series in Japan) which is combonation fantasy & comedy. (Mostly comedy.)
It's about Lina Inverse, renowned bandit slayer, dragon spooker and sorceress ("Well, I'm famous no matter what they call me!") She's also a bit of a... theif. (She's very vein but very funny.) She soon meets up with Gourry Gabreiv (did I spell it right?) and he insists on accompaning her to atlas city. There band grows considerably along the way... you have got to see this series (and the tv series & OAV's too, if possible,) it's terriffic.

Episode 1: ANGRY? Lina's Furious Dragon Slave!
Meet Lina Inverse, young and beautiful (she said it first, not me) sorceress (it's been debated exactly how young she is, some people say from 14-17. You choose.)
She steals some treasure from some rotton bandits and they aren't too happy about this. So, they're going to try and get it back (naturally.) Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Gourry shows up and saves the day (even though she really didn't need much help.) Then, he insists on helping her to atlas cityŠ And, did I mention, they accidentally unleashed a humongous black dragon accidentally? (This episode's really short, only about ten or fifteen minutes long. But you'll see why it was so important later.)
Plus: This is where you first see Lina's Dragon Slave! (Now why can't I do that?)


Episode 2:BAD! Mummy Men Aren't my Type! (Don't you just love this one's name?)
This is the episode in which you first meet Zelgadis (he's really cute!) and one of his minions, Zolf. Apparently, Lina's got something he needs...


Episode 3: CRASH! Red and White and Suspicious all over!
Zelgadis shows up at the inn, saying that she has something that he'll pay any price for. And what is it, you might ask...?


Episode 4: DASH! Run for it! My Magic Doesn't Work!?
The fight between Zelgadis and his minions and Lina and Gourry begins! You also learn what it is that he's afterŠ
Something's wrong! Lina's magic doesn't work! "Oh! That time of the month!" (This is interesting, because in old legends supposedly sorcerecesses powers were strongest at that time of the month...) What'll happen to Lina? (Very cool! Also the first episode you see Zel with out his mask. You also meet Dilgear in this one.)
