Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf
Terry Bogard and Andy Bogard were bolth only ten when they saw their father murdered right in front of their eyes.
Ten years later, they've entered the King of Fighters Tournament to see which of them is the more powerful. The one who wins will get to learn the hakkyokuseiken technique and be strong enough to avenge their father's death. The only problem is, everyone's out to kill them.
A little goofy, (especially all the lovey dovey stuff with Lily) but you need to see it to understand the movie (which is a terrif movie. I've seen 'em all, and I still don't fully understand it. Oh well.)
Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle
Terry is approached by a mysterious man and (gasp!) beaten! Now he's a drunkard and has lost all self confidence. The only way he can earn back his confidence is to fight Krauser, (the guy who defeated him,) and he can't so that because he has no confidence in himself. (Jeeze...)
Meanwhile, Andy has been training in the mountains to try and strengthen himself. He's training alongside Mai Shiranui, the interdependent dual-suspension ninja girl (who's name sounds like a car ad, doncha know.) This one's a tad bit less appealing than the first one, but at least it's got Mai!
Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture
There's this guy who's going around collecting this stuff called the 'Armor of Mars' which turns the wearer into a god. Now, if this guy would use these powers of his for good only there wouldn't be a story, so you know he's obviously gonna' do something bad, which is take over the world, conquer every civilization, blah blah blah, you know, the usual stuff. In the words of the great Lina inverse: "Oh man! Don't tell me he's trying to take over the world! Can't they think of anything more original than that?" But that basically describes just about every one of the movies ever made. But this is far from the regular stuff you'd expect, it's got great animation, an okay soundtrack, and is WAY funnier than you'd expect. Pretty good, really.
Anyway, they're in a race to get the armor before this guy does and becomes a god, unfortunately, I think they'd better hurry up, he's already got three of the six pieces, no wait four, no- oh crap!
Rating:
Comments: Okay animation quality, okay story, the movie's much better than the oav's, pretty cool, movie's pretty funny, the movie has incredible animation quality, the oav's are pretty goofy (okay, really goofy), a little blood, some nudity; but over all, pretty good show.
